Appointment of Chief Executive Officer
Celoxica Holdings plc (AIM: CXA) - a leading provider of electronic system level design technology for the Accelerated Computing and Embedded Systems markets, today announces that Mr. Lee Staines, 42, is to be appointed to the Board as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 16 July 2007. Ian Yeoman, currently interim CEO will stand down at this point and return to the role of non-executive Director.
Lee joins Celoxica from Atos Euronext Market Solutions Limited (“AEMS”), a global technology company providing products and services to the financial services sector, where he was Global Sales Director. Lee has strong contacts within the banking community and experience of selling to financial institutions, an area that Celoxica is targeting with its Accelerated Computing technologies. Prior to working at AEMS, Lee was a Sales Director at ADP Inc, one of the world’s largest independent computing services firms, where again his responsibilities involved dealing with financial institutions. In addition to his experience in technology sales to the banking industry, Lee originally trained as an analyst programmer for Mastercard, subsequently moving into various IT related roles in both New York and London at investment banks which included Merrill Lynch and Kleinwort Benson.
There are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules.
